How can I build a homemade pontoon boat? - homemade boat plywood
I want to build a pontoon boat house. What are my options. Can a framework marine plywood and fill the thing with a little foam? Thanks for the help. Engineering students here is your chance!

Hello there, I too am building a paddle powered canal boat to spend the summer 2010 in. I am building the pontoons from 3 layers of 4" thick polystyrene topped with ply and covered with waxed canvas held on by staples. These are then fixed with cross frames to each other and Ply topped for flooring and strength. Email me for any help. Sounds like yours may be a bit larger than mine (12ft x 6ft) But size aint everything eh? buffalohuxley@easy.com
